Its stunning Val!!...I think it does,nt matter which side you start a painting...it always turns out very beautyful..well done again this time..love the bubbles...greetings Francien.
Hi Francien, thanks so much - I think this will be my last mermaid for a little while - three mermaids in a row is a bit much lol - but yes, I am very particular when it comes to the order in which I paint - main thing is painting turned out well and I am happy with it - cheers buddy, hugz Val xox
She is GORGEOUS!!!!! I love this painting!!You are SO talented!!
she's very cute - love those flushed cheeks!
Hi Jade & Brenda, thanks heaps :)!The flushed cheeks are water soluble oil pastels - just love the mixed media aspect of these paintings :)
Love how she came out! Very pretty!!! and no it's not weird to turn down commissions! I learned a long time ago that if I force myself to do something that my heart is not in then the end result is not as good and I'm mad at myself for agreeing to something that I didn't want to do in the first place!...so you did the right thing :o)) Michele
Hi Michele - ditto - I knew I would be under pressure to paint them and the kids are on school holidays now so I basically just decided "not this time" and I am happy with that decision :) - cheers Val xo
She's gorgeous, I love her dark hair and green eyes :)
