Plum/Burgandy Freshwater Pearl Pendant :)

...this one started with a design in mind - the glass heart was the first bead I threaded and the design happened around the heart - still looks haphazard to me LOL but there is order in the madness I suppose - I would like to thank all you lovely ladies for your great comments, encouragement and most of all your friendship - thanks to blogger and all the talented people I have met here, I have been inspired to try new things and have grown so much in these last 6 months. HUGZ to all, Val xo

ps I am at a loss as to how much to list this pendant for, any help? all I can tell you is that it took me 5 solid hours to make :)

  5. That one is even more beautyful dear Val...its stunning...and the price...well..i learned that people aren,d interested in how long it took you to make it..( my quilts and wallhangings were made by hand and took me over a year at least)but they look how its made and the materials you used ...one can see that you made this one very difficult for yourself and that its the only one in the world like that and that has his price..i would look at Etsy what others aske for their pendants simular like yours and go from there...and let that friend of yours sell them like mad...what ever you price them i am sure your creations are worth is...and i now!! i have one lucky me!!!
    greetings ♥ Francien.

  6. Hi Dear Francien - you are so very right - I do realise that people do not actually look at the time involved as I have found out when selling my paintings :(

Wow buddy, over a year time frame for your quilts, I hope you got a small fortune for it!!!

I have just looked at Etsy but I cannot find anything similar to this pendant - so I am still at a loss - my friend is saying not to even list this pendant, she wants to take this one with her to the galleries - I think I will let her - who know where this may lead - I will live with my hopes up :)

    Cheers love, Val xo

  9. I have olmost everything what isn.t already crossed dear Val...lol...crossed for you...hope you have lots of lovely comments and interest at the galleries...maybe its a good idea too to let your friends layout some businesscards with your creations with your Etsyshopnumber...emailadress..or blogadress..i always can kick myself when i saw something i did not had the money for at that time and when i did....i could not find it anymore were it came from...so now I always ask for businesscards so i can look at the site later...do i still make sence?? not good at explaning in English...it was just a thought...
Take care and good luck..( talk to "them"lol...)♥ Francien.

  11. Hi Francien dear - thanks for having 'everything' crossed for me LOL, I appreciated it so much - I think it is a great idea to have business cards with links to online stores - I was planning to do just that and have had business cards made up a few months ago anyway - I will "talk" to my little dollies buddy, thank you :)

I will let you know if anything exciting happens, take care buddy and we will chat soon, Val xoxoxo

  12. PS Francien - I have ordered heaps of sterling silver wire and gems from Etsy - so the next few pendants like this will be very high quality (especially if they will be in a gallery :)xo

  13. Hey Kelly, thank you heaps - I plan to make my next one out of sterling silver and real precious stones/gems - this little exercise is costing me so much LOL but thats like with everything I do - chat soon, Val xo

  14. It is lovely, I liked the first, but this one is better. I also like your tree of life pendants. So, I guess the question on price is what is your time worth to you?

  15. Hi Kat and thank you - yes, that is the question - 'what is my time worth to me' - a real conundrum as I don't want to overprice them and I sure don't want to underprice myself too - will work it out eventually :)
